Ohhhhhh Canada!
Well, it's time to say goodbye to Canada as our team is flying home to places all across the US. It's Thanksgiving tomorrow, so we're headed out to be with family and friends from coast to coast. If you see a plane flying out of Toronto today there's a pretty good chance one of us is on it. We'll be back in a few days with more thoughts on last night, but know that as we go all of us are carrying the amazing sight of 4,500 university students going for it in worship... and the sounds. Yeah! The sounds of many voices calling out to God, filling the Ricoh with prayers for Canada and the song of Jesus.
And, like a lot of you, we are so encouraged. God is BIG...really, really big! And He's making Toronto a place for His renown!
Hopefully there will be more pics posted later today.

I am glad Canada was a good time to see God's name lifted. If you are headed to Atlanta, have fun in the airport. It wasn't too bad last night, but should be worse today. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and stop by 722 again soemtime.

Be encouraged by Joshua 1:6, "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them."
May He provide His travelling mercies to all of you as you head back to the US, and have a very fruitful and blessed thanksgiving weekend!
Come back soon! :oD

Praise God for showing us his Majesty in Toronto last night! I was media for the evening, so instead of reiterating, here's what Soul Shine Magazine had to say about Passion 2005 in Toronto (copy and paste the link into your browser):

Hello Louie and the Passion team,
I hope you enjoyed your stay, experienced a friendly, warm, Canadian welcome (I don't mean the weather), and had a great time worshipping with us.
Louie, everytime I hear you speak, I always learn something new and always have to rejoice at this new revelation :D We really needed to re-focus on how awesome our God is, thanks for showing those images to us. Truly: "There is no one like you, and there is no God but you". Thanks for your contributions at 7|22 and for the impact you've made on everyone that's heard you speak.
Charlie, thanks for sharing: "Sin has lost its power, death has lost its sting, from the grave You've risen VICTORIOUSLY!" -- that encompases an integral part of the Gospel.
Chris, thanks for sharing that new song with us. I'm expecting that show up on a Passion Toronto CD release! :p
David, thanks for your constant humour and ability to awaken us to some extreme lactic-acid-build-up-ing worship: "When our depravity meets His divinity, it's a beautiful collision."
Staff, volunteers, etc: thanks for making the night run smoothly. When working behind the scenes, only the Audience of One sees the amazing things you've done, but it's totally worth it :D
Have a great Thanksgiving weekend, see you at Passion 2006.

Thanks so much Passion team!
Yesterday night was INSANE. The music was awesome. Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, David Crowder band, you guys were all amazing. Chris, I loved your new song! =D Everyone was just so into it and God's presence could definitely be felt in the room. I loved the message. It was so simple and so clear. God is definitely BIG and all powerful. =)
Seeing that you guys have done so much of God's work really motivates us too. I'll be praying for you guys to keep spreading God's word all around the world. All the best in the future and God bless.

Thanks Louie really inspiring message...mmm the message of passion. God has been speaking to me about an awakening in our nation, an awakening to passion. For if there is anything the church in America needs it's Passion...understanding God...and what he's done and standing in surrendered awe...then and only then will we flip this nation back to God. Its the message of the time Louie!
It's crazy cause at my church I feel like an anomoly because of my passion for Christ...people steer. lol but its about to break, God is speaking the message of passion so loudly at our church...things are happening that never happened before. WOOO!
Anyhow be blessed! and check out our website...this is something were working on...it's small and still in the planning stages, but our hope is to connect the churches to spread this message of the awakening. yeah...check it out!

again, thx Passion team and Louie. who knows, if Nashville is having one for 2006, i might just get a ticket and go down there.

"God keep our land, [for You give glory, making us] glorious, and [You give freedom, making us] free,
Oh Canada we stand on guard [because we are the Lord's watchmen] for thee...
Oh Canada we stand on guard [so that we can spiritually see what comes in and out of our campuses] for thee!!!!"
yeah, the author forgot to write an annotated version of our anthem, so I figured it was the best time to show what was missing. ;)

I've already commented on the other blogs, but I saw some of the pictures, and I had forgotten about Charlie Hall's new song.
I loved it, and as I see the words in the pictures, I find I'm humming and singing what I can remember. Pleeease record it!!

thanks for coming to our city and uniting us all under one roof. It was so good to praise Him with all those people, doing the same time. He heard our voices that night, and thank you for giving us the chance to call out to Him in worship

Ok! Amen! Now let's go feed the poor, cloth the naked, vist those in prison, look after the sick, and give water to the thirsty.
Or we could all just sing some songs again. That sounds like a lot more fun.
