Can You Feel It?

Can you feel it? God is doing something amazing in this generation as a wave of students around the globe are joining their lives to a Story that is so much bigger than their own. And what better place to see that happen than in one of the world's collegiate epicenters, Boston, MA. Home to over 300,000 university students, and the heart of New England, Boston holds a special place in the Passion Movement. Our first gathering there, a free tour event in the famed Orpheum Theater, was the largest Christian collegiate event in recent memory (if not ever) and was a historic moment as students saw a venue known for some of the best rock shows in town filled with the fame of Jesus. Ever since that night Passion has sought to return to Boston and on October 12/13 it's going to happen.

Passion Boston is for the students of the city, but more importantly, a gathering for students from the surrounding region. In fact, the largest group to register so far is a group of cadets from West Point in New York! Like Chicago the week following, Passion Boston is 2 days, 4 main sessions and Passion's core shrunk into a weekend that we hope will change the world.

Passion Boston is coming fast (and schools don't start there for several more weeks!!), so help us spread the word to anyone and everyone you know in New England (and Chicagoland and the Midwest).

PS- Thanks to sixsteps and DC*B for lending a great track to the promo video from the new Crowder release Remedy.

  • I am so excited about Boston! I will be volunteering this year, I have never attended a Passion conference before. I didn't know about it when I was in college (it was so new), and I can hardly wait for October! I know I probably won't be in the sessions...but just to be involved, and to make a difference in a college student's life (even if that means selling them tshirts) is so exciting to me!

  • Just wanted to let you know that I listen to the Podcast:-) I missed it and it's good to have the podcast back.I almost don't have to mention it anymore because I'm on here a lot, but I'm listening from Katwijk which is a little town just under Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

I listened to the first episode today, wow that podcast was incredible! Tears filled my eyes. It's amazing how the world tour is taking shape and how people are donating money. It's incredible! It amazes me so much.

Passion has been on my heart for so long and I really felt that I should go to the Passion regional in Boston. I'm going! I've no idea what to expect but I know that I'm going with God and I'm looking forward to see Him stir up the hearts of so many young students, students like me.

At this moment God is moving big time in The Netherlands. I hope and pray that the Passion team will also come to Holland, but it's all up to God!! I know He will bring you to Europe. Students overhere need to see the love of God. If you need any help, click on my name, scroll down, there will be an e-mail address and e-mail me. I know a lot about churches and events across europe and I feel that it's my duty to help you! I would be honoured.

    Love, Jackie

  • GEEZZZZZ!!! i got goosebumps watching that!!!

  • I attended OneDay 2003 and the event in Boston that was held several years ago. It was exciting to see Passion catch a vision for New England since it previously seemed more focused on the Bible Belt. I work for a InterVarsity in New England (something that was confirmed for me by OneDay and Urbana), so something like this is very exciting. Unfortunately though, it conflicts with about 60% of homecoming weekends and family/friends weekends for smaller colleges and schools outside Boston, so most of our students won't be able to go because of this. So, please be in prayer for the work of God outside Boston, and those who wish they could join in this movement, but can't be there physically! There's a lot happening in the outskirts!
