28 Day Prayer Journey To Passion 07 - Day 28

Day 28. Now.

In hours many of you will be arriving in Atlanta. But Passion doesn't start when you get here, Passion begins the instant you become intoxicated by the grace of God and decide to make every breath about the Savior who brought you back to life again. Shake off the fog of lies that suffocate and cling to the voice of the Spirit. In Christ, you are prized, free, alive, new, washed clean, able.

If you're on the way to Passion 07, we'll see you soon! If not, know we feel your prayers from a far and will see you by the miracle of technology once the first session is streamed sometime Monday night/Tuesday morning.

Father, what more can we say? 28 days. So many words.
We need You more than ever. You are everything. Be happy at Passion 07. It's all for You, Jesus. Who else would it be about anyway? I love You.

"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God." 1 Corinthians 2:12

  • Father God, I praise You that we live in a country where we are free to come together in a 28 day prayer journey and a four day gathering in Your name. We are so blessed. I pray not only for myself but everyone who will be attending Passion 2007. I pray that we will come to worship You for You and not for ourselves. I pray for those who are coming with broken hearts, Father. I pray that You will pour Your unfailing love into them, Lord, so that they will no longer feel empty inside. Nothing satisfies the way that You do. I pray that the passion we will experience in the next four days won't end when we arrive back home but that we will go out with renewed spirits and a renewed longing to make You known.
Father, surround those traveling tomorrow with angels and protect them as they come from all over to worship You and bring Your name all glory and honor. No one deserves it more than You. Thank You for Your love, Lord Jesus. None of us could live without it. In Your name, Amen.

O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
For the LORD is a great God
And a great King above all gods,
In whose hand are the depths of the earth,
The peaks of the mountains are His also.
The sea is His, for it was He who made it,
And His hands formed the dry land.
Come, let us worship and bow down,
Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker.
    For He is our God
    Psalm 95:1-7

  • Couldn't have been said better.

Yes, Lord, be happy at Passion07.
Make us happy in amazing, precious You.
    Every breath.

Mr. Giglio-you're sure pushing a late night. :) Not surprised at all. Blessings to all of you!

  • we are on our way to ATL in about six hours! it's 2:50 in the morning... and i should be sleeping... but i have so much anticipation running through me for this week and what God is going to teach me. i know that he's going to do something amazing because satan is already trying to get me down.

my grandmother was put in the hospital last night and she may have some form of non-hodgkin's lymphoma. they are still running tests and aren't quite sure what's going on yet. i thought about not coming to passion, but my parents are very adament about me going. i don't know what's going to happen, but it's going to be hard for me to leave tomorrow. if you would say a prayer for me, i'm having surrender issues with God right now. please pray that i'll be able to give it all to Him and that i will make it to passion with one goal in mind... to make Him known.

i'll be praying for everyone as we all come together! can't wait to meet new faces and share in celebration of what God is doing in our lives.

with prayers of peace, safety, and love,

    andrea

  • thank you for streaming each of the main sessions praise God! what a privilege and opportunity to be sharing in what God will speak through louie, john, francis etc. i'll be listening from ireland - not able to get to passion '07 but will be in minneapolis God-willing for the 'How Great is Our God' event.

folks, brothers, sisters - let us indeed be the 268 generation - so many people reach a certain age, settle down, settle for a life of comfort and before they know it they're 70 - oh what a wasted life for God - please don't get caught in a rut - yes marry and together may your lives be ignited and white hot constantly on fire for God...i truly believe God is raising up mighty men and women in this generation who in His strength will blow the cobwebs of western sleepy Christians and further our Lord's everlasting kingdom exponentially!

  • Thank you for streaming Passion 07 online. I am doing Gods work in Istanbul, Turkey and God willing will stream some of these messages to the Turkish church. Turkey is the most unevangelized nation in the world and today they just celebrated the muslim holiday and sacrificed their goats to Muhammed. We are prayiing agaist these dark forces, Your message and this website bring encouragement to weary souls here.

  • Father,

We praise you for who You are. We could praise you for the rest of our days for the things that you have blessed us with, most importantly Yourself! I want to lift up andra lynn. God, we know that You are bigger than any circumstances. Give her peace as she comes. I know that the enemy is fighting so hard right now to keep people from coming. He's throwing anything he can think of at us: sickness, friends backing out, money issues, fear, all kinds of set backs. Father, show up. Be bigger than all of those things. This is for you. We're for you. Be glorified in us all the days of our lives. Be especially glorified in these next four days as we gather with believers from across the nations to proclaim that You are to us so High!
    In Jesus' name, Amen

  • Glory in the Highest. I give you my everything. Apart from you there is no God. We sang this song in service today and it is such a powerful song. Passion is not passion without God. The preacher said that millions of students get degrees without God and many people make millions of dollars without God and that's true but you cannot be like Jesus Christ without God. The same is for this conference without God it's nothing more than event. I am super excited for what God is going to do this next week. I pray for everyone traveling to Atlanta and for the students already there that they will open their hearts and see what amazing thing God is going to do in their lives. This is going to be a life changing experience for everyone.

  • in atl...it's pouring. :)
    ready for passion to start!

  • Our college group who are going to Passion 07 in a few hours came together last night and had fellowship sang and prayed for our experience at Passion to be a great one.

I can't begin to express how much i'm looking forward to being in atlanta with you all, to feel God's presence with 20,000 plus seekers of our Father in heaven.

Father, i just pray for everyone who are coming to Passion. Let us abandon everything that has ensnared our sinful lives and come and be refreshed and changed forever over these few day we have together.

For those aren't attending i thank you for all the prayers you've bestowed on this event. You have no idea how much i desire every one of the body of Christ to come together and worship Him. But we will have that opportunity in heaven with every knee bowing and confessing and truly praising Him for being the one true God. Alpha and Omega. The Beginning and the End. King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  • Andrea,

Praying with you. Keep on, girl-you're on the right track! :)

By way of encouragement, take joy in making Him known by honoring His Word and His loving heart by casting your cares upon Jesus and resting in His kind sovereignty. It's a hard, but precious place to be. Let Him press you closer to Himself. Not only will you be quietly making Him known, but you will know Him better too.

If anything, the Enemy wants not so much to keep you from going to Passion, as to keep your heart from God during this time of both exciting and trying circumstances. Along with 1 Peter 5:7, be encouraged by Philippians 4:6 and 1 John (1:1-4). Fellowship was His idea and remains His desire. Just talk with Him about everything on your heart and keep looking to Him in His Word.

    God is where you are.

    Blessings,
    Kayleen
