From The Windy City!

We're up and running in Chicago and have had a great night. We prayed for all you guys who were in Boston and are standing in your prayers for us now.

Chicago = students from over 300 colleges and universities, many people around four wooden crosses making things right with God, new songs echoing throughout the Sears Center, Jesus putting a new song in our mouths, no more pits!, 5,900 pairs of socks (so far), 1200 towels (so far), no wells yet, but coming, guest here from Kampala, Sao Paulo and South Africa, and people praying all around the world (literally). There's so much more to come!

  • Been praying for all of you yeserday and again this morning. May the city of Chicago and the college campuses around the midwest forever be changed by the leaders God has gathered together this weekend. What each of you has to offer your campuses and local church can and will rock the foundations of this world. There are too many sit and soak follwers of Jesus in the older generations (I know as I am in that age group but am actively involved serving the greatest person who ever walked this planet - Jesus Christ). We are called to be servants of the King and my prayer is that you would be leaders who bring the Gospel message to your campuses and to people all over the world. You have just begun an incredible journey. Enjoy where God will be taking you. I'll be praying for all of you.

    Matt 20:28

  • Mr. Giglio - I know how much you get that so I thought I would continue the tradition. I just want to thank you for the great Passion Chicago conference that you hosted for us. Upon returning home and discussing the conference with some people at work. One of our "office professionals" loved what little bit about Ashley's story I had told her. She would love to hear the rest of it. Is there anywhere she would be able to find that? Or where I could purchase it so that she may see it? Thank You in advance again. And Praise God for the work he is doing through you and Passion 07'. Thanks

  • I've only been a christan for about a year. At my home church, back in Buffalo, NY I had heard testimonys about how much Passion Atlanta had changed the lives of so many of the people that went, and i knew that i wanted to be part of something like that.

I now attend Regent University (aka Pat Robertson's school) in Virgina Beach. I was psyced to find out that Passion was coming to DC which is only about 2.5 hours away from me. I bought my ticket for the show already actually. But then I decided I was to excited, and really desired to be touched like all the people that I had seen that had attended before. Feb. was simply to far away, So me and my roommate packed our bags and decided to make the 15+ hour drive to Chicago. Let me tell you, I dont even think the word amazing summarizes it. I have been on fire for awhile nw, and Passion filled my heart with such a joy that I want to spread throughout my campus, I want everyone to experience what I have, everyone to have th ejoy that was placed in my heart when at passion. The drive was completly worth it!

Anyways, I am so excited about attending the DC show in Feb.I actually started a facebook group at my school for it, and have more than 60 people interested in going already, which is impressive since my school is so far. I spread the word to everyone I can about how amazing what you guys are doing was. I can not WAIT until DC! You guys have changed my life!
