Big D, Big Love, Huge Hope

We've come to the end of the night, but Passion Dallas is just beginning as 6000 people leave believing that God will use them to change the world. There will be more to say later, but for now just know that these have been amazing hours with an unfathomable God. The Do Something Now Campaign took on a very cool turn as the students responded to the need at Union University and gave their clothes for those who have none as a result of the tornado. What an awesome sight seeing a 26' truck filled with the kindness of one group of students for another.

More to come!

  • This conference was phenomenal!! Louie and Francis spoke the truth. David Crowder and Chris Tomlin sang their hearts out. I can truly say my life was changed by my experience at Passions Dallas. Thanks for the awesome work you guys do, good luck in DC.

  • It was amazing... I'm a tiny bit speachless... it got better and better as the hours went on and I wouldn't trade these 24 hours for the world.

Louie, when you spoke truth to us,towards the end of the night after francis talk, that was the most amazing moment for me the entire time... I truly felt the lies I've been believing "shatter" My heart was pounding, my eyes where watering and something deep inside was coming alive again... Thank you Jesus, thank you, Holy Spirit... thank you passion for continuing to spread his fame.

Anything is possible with our God.

  • This conference, if that title even gives it enough justice, was breath-taking. I have come to Christ within the past 4 years without a support system. My family and a large majority of my friends aren't Christian believers...this Passion Dallas introduced me to some of the most incredible people who invited me to walk with them in their journey with Christ. This experience is something that I will carry for the rest of my life. I hope that God continues to bless all of the amazing speakers, performers, staff, and volunteers of Passion during the numerous travels approaching! You can count on seeing me again soon! 268 LOVE!

  • This was one of the most life changing experiences I have ever experienced. I can feel the Holy Spirit thriving inside me and even though I have been a Christian pretty much my whole life; I can now say I am truly living my life for Him. Money is not worth the life changing experience and the friends i have earned

  • I can truly say Passion is an awe-inspiring event filled with some of the most amazing people filled with the love of God! This was my first, but won't be my last. I am already planning a trip to another in the coming months. Louie and Francis, simply amazing. You two have so much of God's love in your heart. And I thank you for sharing it.

  • awesome to see the pics!! I pray that everyone that attended this event will SHINE!

  • It was amazing just to sit with so many Christians..i made a comment to a friend of mine after seeing many Oklahoma Sooners,Texas Longhorns and Texas Tech Red Raiders around,(and myself being an Aggie) that it is funny that even though we are all such hardcore rivals we have come together to worship the Living God! I am in the Army and will be deploying to Iraq before the year is over..last night just made my passion to go over there even more..not only has God given me a heart for the troops but always a heart for the Iraqi people...even the taliban, who killed my friend.

  • This was my first passion experience and all I can say is "WOW." I have never heard Louie speak and again all I can say is "WOW." You guys really are a group of people after God's own heart and you have a heart to share that with the WORLD. I can't wait to see you all again next year! Hopefully I will bring my church group so they can experience something Great as well. Thank you so much for all you have done. You truly lead students to the Throne of God.

  • Praise God! I have been to many conference but none has affected me more than this one. I just begin to tear up at the thought of Passion. I thank God for blessing y'all with so many talents and using y'all to bless millions of college students. All I can say is thank you. May God continue to bless this ministry show in showing His fame to all nations. In His Love!

  • Praise and glory to God for speaking through the Passion team! It was a weekend that left me speechless, but a truth empowering me to be LOUD and SHINE on my campus for our God of this city!! May God use what we did in Dallas and increase it tenfold to impact this world and our generation! Thank you Louie, Chan, and all the Passion team for your never-ending mission to impact and change this generation!

Yes Lord. Our piece of Your BIG puzzle doesn't start tomorrow, next week, or at the next revival. It starts now!

  • I have been looking forward to this gathering for a year and it was so much more than I wanted it to be! It went beyond my expectations. In all my selfishness, I would love for you guys to come back to Dallas again and again but it's '120'times better that you're going around the world! You're spreading the Gospel like a wildfire and I am beyond privileged to call myself a part of the Fruitcake generation!

All glory and honor to His matchless name!

  • the body of Christ as it's meant to be. What an experience.

By Blogger Gregg, at 2/17/2008 9:38 PM

  • My only regret has to do with the passion advertising offered to us. I tried to post the posters on campus, but they said they could be no bigger than 8 1/2 by 11. I got a couple out, but not as many as I would have liked.

Just 411 for the future. Everything else was superb.

P.S. Sorry but didn't know how else to tell ya.

  • What an experience. God is simply amazing when you give him 120% :)

40%, 40%, 40%...was almost the highlight of the conference...but Francis' powerful ending speech touched me deeply! Along with David Crowder and Chris Tomlin, oh and I can't forget Louie!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2/17/2008 10:35 PM

  • All I can say is praise GOD! Seeing all that everyone gave, even as poor college students, was the most amazing showing of generosity and love for people that I have ever seen in my life. I am now a completely changed person now. I can say that I am a Christian and not be ashamed of it anymore. May God continue to bless this amazing ministry!

  • Praise the Lord for The Passion conferences!

  • WOW! I just got back from Dallas. Lighting a fire within all our hearts, while reaching out to the Dallas Community with towels, and socks.

    Praise be to God.

All Glory and Honor to Him Forever!

  • Passion is full of people who are truly blessed by God.

40% of Passion was the amazing bands who played and sang their hearts out for God.

Another 40% of Passion was the amazing speakers Louie and Francis.

Finally, another 40% of Passion were all the college students that left wanting to make a true difference on their campus!

Passion was and is 120% for Jesus!

  • I am a student at Union University. My mom had a friend at Passion: Dallas who called her as soon as she could after the clothing donations to tell her about it. Speaking especially for some of my friends who have lost absolutely everything (I managed to obtain several things from my dorm, for which I am grateful) as well as the entirety of our student body, I want to thank everyone who gave clothing to Union, and to the Passion team for being willing to allow this opportunity and willingness to deliver these clothes to Union! Your efforts are not in vain; I thank God for groups like you all who give so willingly. I am not at all alone in this gratefulness. Once again, THANK YOU.

  • During one of the sessions on Saturday, something Frances said really moved my heart... and I wrote this in my journal, "My failures may be proof that my flesh is weak, but they will never render me useless to the Kingdom, because God's Holy Spirit - in all His glory and all His power - is ALWAYS strong. I do not change the fact that He can do ANYTHING." It was something I needed to hear, something that has completely revolutionalized the way I view the Holy Spirit's ability to work through me. I was so blessed by Passion. I will continue praying as you guys take the conferences across the globe!!

  • AMAZING WEEKEND!!!!

  • ...'Day and night they never stop saying: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."...

I used to wonder what pleasure would there be in Heaven singing praises to the Lord God all day, every day...now I know!!!

What a glorious time of joy was Passion Dallas...thank you, thank you, thank you God!!!!!!

  • How do you sum up an amazing weekend like this? Two words, "YES LORD!"

Thank you Louie and Francis for your sharing your love of Jesus with us. I am literally speechless. I lost my voice after the second Saturday session, and it is still not back yet!!

I also felt the call for ministry again!! God is so good!!!

Thank you again!! Can't wait to see the pics!!

  • Wow. There's nothing else I can say. Passion 07 was awesome, and I really didn't think that Passion 08 could rival it. But it did... and it surpassed it. God is amazing, faithful, true... and so much more that I can't come up with words to describe. Thanks for being the instrument for God to change my life and the lives of so many others.

  • Passion was an amazing reminder for me of the love of God. I somewhere got distracted and quit looking at the cross for my focus of everything, and this weekend really got me back into that focus. Thanks for all the hard work.

  • hey you, my brother Louie!

I don't know you're going to remember me. My name is Rodrigo and I'm one of the brazilian that couldn't go to Passion 07.

I heard about Passion in Brazil and I got sooooo happy, but I don't know anything but the dates.

This would probably be the chance to taste what some of my friends did in January/2007.

    God bless ya'll!

  • I watched Passion07 online last year while many of my friends were there and was blessed by just the online exposure and I could not wait to get to Dallas this year.

I deeply needed an experience like this. I feel as if God breathed life back into me! Thank you to every single person who worked on the Dallas event for being open to be used so powerfully by God! God Bless you all!

  • one of the things i love about the passion movement is that it challenges and opens our hearts to the world out there that doesn't know Jesus. sometimes, here in america, we get so caught up in what we're doing that we forget that. "for God so loved the world..." this movement is going global and i'm excited to be a part of it! thanks for stretching us and challenging us to DO SOMETHING NOW!

  • Praise God for all the towels, socks, wells, clothing, funds for Seoul that was collected in Dallas. I know God will use all these things for His Glory and His Kingdom.

As a volunteer and a 36 yr old college student, I must praise God for using all of you guys to deliver the truth and the good news about JesusChrist and the cross. You have planted good seed in good soil at Passion Dallas. Thank you Louie for having a servant's heart, mind, and soul and for being so real. I am so very thankful to have served with so many outstanding brothers and sisters who are passionate for Jesus and who have a heart for the college generation. I loved being there and hope to serve with you next time you come to Texas. Lord bless Passion.
