The Passion Movement Speaks

You guys rock! We all awakened to the nice little surprise of the Passion banner on the iTunes main page, linking to the new Passion/sixsteps store page with all our projects in one spot. We knew it was coming, but thought it would be more fun for you to discover on your own. You guys are making a statement today: there is a generation of God-lovers out there, a generation passionate for the One who frees and redeems.

While you were enjoying the new bundle it was rocketing up to #6. We heard it hit #4 at one point, but it stills shows #6 now. We'll see what tomorrow holds. Thank you
for speaking up and linking together. I have a feeling there are a ton of Passion 06 people out there who don't know about the Brown Bundle. You've got to help us find them and get them on board. The Party Song offer is still on the table for WHENEVER, and we just might pull it off...if that happens, the clip is waiting in the wings. Let's make some more iTunes noise tomorrow...climb higher and stay there for a while.

The Indescribable Tour was in Nashville tonight at the historic Ryman Auditorium. There was a great Passion contingent on hand (I loved watching your faces as th
e Glimpse video played!), but as earnestly as you tried to get Party started, the overall crowd vibe just wasn't there. I was proud of your organization and effort though, and it was such an honor to worship with you. BTW, heard about a couple of unique T's in the crowd. Thanks for the shout out!

Most of all, it's been a day of remembering. We had a big event this afternoon where Chris received his Gold Record for Arriving and I remembered the early days when God breathed sixsteps to life... and all the steps we have trusted Him for in between. There is no adventure like following Him. And we remembered all of you from Passion 06 as we spent the day in downtown Nashville. Something is forever different about this place in my heart. Tonight we prayed for all of you, asking God to fan the flame in your hearts. What a ride this Passion journey. Following God is unmatched in this world!

  • If you start at the iTMS home page and then 'Choose Genre' as Inspirational, and then look at the top, there is a link to an entire page called the 'Passion Worship Movement.' Keep it up people, God is doing something through the thousands of us enjoying all this wonderful music. I dont know if any of you have ever heard this quote but I just feel like sharing it, 'God is a comedian playing to a crowd that's too afraid to laugh' - Voltaire

  • It was so good to worship with you guys again tonight... it was such a sweet time to be able to remember our time at Passion06 and think about the ways God has changed my life since then and continues to work in unbelievable ways. I really enjoyed the "glimpse" video too... I think it really gave the Nashville group (which from where i was sitting in the very last row, didn't seem too full of Passion06 students) an idea of how God met with us and is using our generation to change history, all for His glory. Thanks to all the Passion team for your hard work and allowing God to work through your ministry in such a mighty way.

  • I loved EVERYTHING about "Indescribable" in Nashville - the music, the Word, the emotions of Passion06 that resurfaced, even the historicity of the Ryman. *Except* ... no "Party!!" We tried, really we did...
Thank you for the hard work and sacrifices you (ALL!) made to make nights like that happen all over the country. What a glorious night, giving it all up for God!

  • Hey guys.. THANKYOU!!!

---for getting the bundle available for us up here in Canada! It was great to hear Made to Worship so many months since Chris lead it at Passion:Toronto

plus.. i received Flying into Daybreak in the mail last week.. and i have to say you guys did a wonderful job on that album. the production is so wonderful. Thankyou so much for the blessing.

    for Him

  • oh, sure... drop the price of flying into daybreak right after i buy it... haha oh well, it's definitely worth it!

as for my "passion walk," it's safe to say that God is good. I came home (from Nashville) to find out my mom has breast cancer but God is bigger than cancer. Praise Him all the more! even better, at the start of this month, i was offered a job as the student minister at the church i've been going to!

all glory and honor and praise to our King!

  • I was at the Ryman last night and it was amazing. I went to Passion 06 and my life was changed. God used that conference to speak to my heart, a call to abandon everything else and seek after Him wholeheartedly. I had some friends that were not able to go to Passion, but thery came with me last night and it was awesome to see God speak to them in the same way and to be able to worship with them. And I must say that the Passion clip brought tears to my eyes, not sad tears, but happy tears for how awesome God is and for all He has done in my life since then. Thank you for answering His calling on your lives and for making His name RENOWN!

  • Last night was amazing. I went to the Indescriable Tour in the fall in Knoxville, and to Passion, the message never gets old and it just gets better and better.
It was an awesome time of worship and Im glad I got to go again-- Even though I came from Chattanooga and I had a physiology lab midterm today...and got about 3 hours of sleep last night---it was all more than worth it to be able to worship will yall again and everyone in the crowd.
I was so happy to hear Made To Worship again last night, and so excited its on itunes.
It's just too bad we could get the party clap louder though.

  • you're all getting rich...& wearing tighter & tighter shirts...to the glory of God

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 2/24/2006 12:36 AM

  • hey anon above me @ 12:36 am-
    surely you are jesting ??
If so, haha and go directly to post bottom smiley face...
if not... I'm not quite sure what your comment meant... but it does present some interesting prayer oportunities... while one would imagine the Lord is blessing them financially, I would also think they'd seek His discernment in being good stewards for all blessings - financial or otherwise- that the Lord sees fit to place before them during this season of their lives and care for them with humility/ love /responsibility ... we can support them in prayer for that...I admit I've heard it said that it is a rare man who can handle sucess well.... We are all human so I would think anyone would welcome prayers of God's discernment for rightly appreciating & handling the blessings He's given us...
"their shirts too tight?"; Well physically, they all look just fine to me...so I'm not sure if was that a figurative or literal comment...? Regardless I dont think they need 'bigger shirts'; ....While they look fine physically, it may be that they could use some of our prayers (who couldn't use prayer support?) to keep pride far from them and to remain humble & to think rightly on the things God sees fit to place in their hands; to handle with discernment these blessings of God(financial & otherwise) with humility, thankfulness, attentiveness, care and love while continuing to keep Christ at the center on these God- given mountaintops of His favor & Blessings :)

ok these are incredibly long run on sentances but its just tooo late to do much editing :)
