Oh, The Heart of America!
Peoria, South Bend, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Fayetteville.....
Seems like for days now we've been circling in the center of the nation. Over to Omaha, up to Chicago, down to Peoria, up to South Bend, down and over to Memphis, over the OKC, up to Wichita, down to Fayetteville. Round and round we go. Night after night His anthem cherished. Him adored.
Tonight, we will see what Fayetteville holds...what God has in mind for this step of the journey. But things are looking up after a lunch gathering with a dozen campus leaders from UofA (Go R'backs). Not only have they (and their students) been praying much for tonight, generous people have made several hundred tickets available for college students who may have never seen the people of God going after His heart in a setting like this. And, they have set up a prayer room on site where students will pray as the night unfolds, asking God to come in power and shake this place. Humbling. Exciting. Hopeful. Waiting.
Great memories from the middle of America:
1. Meeting CeCe (again, I should ask about spelling) after in OKC and hearing her say she had met Christ in the night and knew for sure she would spend eternity with Him. For this we pray every single day.
2. Hearing a great story in Kansas about a student who had "stopped digging" into death after the talk at Passion...still sporting a blue wristband as a reminder.
3. Seeing an intact, pristine wristband in Wichita (purple, I think) and wondering if its wearer had showered since Nashville! Only kidding...you looked showered and clean.
4. The "party clap" rising up in Memphis from a small, but determined, Passion core, and Chris' response, "the people have spoken." Thus, Memphis witnessed the only Party Song thus far since 06...fun for the Passion crowd, but a little scary for the regular Memphis-ites.
5. A quick trip home to Shelley and the Passion House on our day off Wednesday. :)
6. Meeting our new ND friends in South Bend, and seeing people around the world quickly surround them with cries to God.
7. Listening to a few early mixes (Glorious and Party) from the Passion 06 CD with the guys in a choir room (our green room). Rocking out. Shaking our heads. Feeling it again. Remembering. And, in my case, shedding tears.
If you read the Blog today from one of these fine cities, give us a quick shout. And pray with us for the Kingdom to come tonight in NW Arkansas.
Louie
And please remember to pray for John Piper and his family during his upcoming prostate cancer surgery Tuesday.

It's good to hear the tour is still going great. All the stories are so encouraging for me. Not being at school this semester has not made it easy to stay on top of everything. I can't wait for this Friday. I try not to hold expectations but I know it will blow me away. Go silver.

Praying for you'll from michigan. It's great to hear about what's going on while you are on the road. And how awesome it is to know that lives are being changed. I have no idea what the Party Clap is but I'm glad to hear that all of you who attended and knew it, did the clap!
Still praying for Notre Dame. How awesome it is to see people from around the nation gather together to pray!
I'm praying for you John and family!

Hey Louie!
Tossin' a shout out your way from the good ol' city of Wichita! How awesome it was to worship with y'all last night! It was sweet! I wish we would have gotten to hear the Party song here though.... Those of us from our church that went to Passion have been hearing it in our heads for so long that people that didn't go are beginning to think we are nuts and it doesn't exist!
My buddies Scott and Steph and I were able to come out and what a blessing it was! We were so excited because up until Friday night we still weren't 100% on whether or now we were going to be able to come or if we were even going to be able to get tickets! But we were blessed and got to come!
It was especially cool because Scott and I had been talking about the message since we first heard it at Passion and Steph was clueless! So last night she was able to get clued in as to how small we are and what an AMAZING God we serve! It was so great!
Thank you so much for coming out and for having such a willingness to help us reach our generation for Him. It is so amazing to have someone that is on our side encouraging us along the way! I pray that God will continue to bless the Passion team and that your work may continue. God bless and have fun with the rest of the tour!
For HIS Glory,
Andrea
PS~ I also have to give a shout out to Community Group #3... Woot woot! Any of you still wearing your neon blue wristbands? :)

Just got back from Fay'ville. From Fort Smith though. Awesomeness! I was right at the base of the stage, so when we all sat down...i was one of the unlucky ones who couldn't see the screen...but I eventually manuvered(sp?) around to the side of the stage.

Praise God for all that He continues to do with Passion and the lives that are being changed.
Is it March 29 yet?

Oh man. Memphis was AMAZING!
I am proud to say that I was one of the three up front that kept starting the clap in hopes of hearing the song! Glad that it finally worked, my apologies to the band if they got nervous from not practicing it. :-)
Every time I hear/see the Indescribable series it makes me feel so small and I couldn't be more thankful for that. I think it's easy to think big of myself when I seem to get something right.
Memphis was amazing. That's all there is to it.
Matt and Chris, you guys rocked out for God. Both of you have been amazing roll models for me as a leader.
Louie, the knowledge God has blessed you with encourages me every time He blesses me with it. Thanks for spreading it around.
Sound guys, crew, and everyone that doesn't get seen, you guys rock more than anyone gives you credit for. The backbone you provide makes these things possible on a worldy scale.
God bless!

Hey Louie!
Dropping a line from Norman, OK!
It was amazing to fall in love all over again with Him last Friday in Bethany! We couldn't get any seats so my sis, I and friends were in front with you & still had my Pink band on!! Whoohoo!
I heard about Passion, One Day, music by Chris and Matt in Malaysia and have always wanted to attend. I'm from Malaysia (tribal Borneo Island: Miri, Sarawak specifically) studying here for the past 3 years and had the oppurtunity for the first time to attend Passion 06 through my OU-Amarillo brother, Ben's invitation!
Last Spring, I have been prayerfully seeking God's heart for ministry and to be used by Him. Passion 06 RADICALLY CHANGED MY LIFE & provided real solid time where God revealed A LOT!! Your talk on Designer's Jeans totally FREED me to realize that campus government/leadership that I am involved in and have a passion for IS God's Ministry and that there's a specific reason he places His Children in places of influence -> to magnify and glorify His Name and Fame!
This Spring 06, through a series of God-inspired events since Freshmen year (or even before!), as unqualified as I am, He has cleared the way and provided me the oppurtunity to run for student body leadership March 28/29 -> to engage & enrich the campus with a love of Christ!
I desire so much to live for HIS GLORY ALONE! Thank you for your work at Passion & will be praying for you & the team as you continue to change lives in Christ (including mine)!
Only By His Grace,
Kenah

Thanks again for making your stop in Fayetteville. It was awesome having you guys in town. I hope the room wasn't to small for you. We were definately close... Enjoy some rest and I pray that the remainder of the tour is as awesome as it was in Fayetteville last night.

Last night (the Fayetteville show) was a great boost from Passion! My fellow Passion goers decided that we need a night like this every couple of months! Too bad you three won't be around here again.
We were sad that Tomlin didn't play PARTY. We tried to get the "clap-clap...clap" beat going for him, but it never worked! Too bad, I guess I will just have to wait for the Passion '06 CD to come out because I KNOW it will be on there!
Great job last night guys! We Bentonville, AR people are all praying for your tour.

Louie,
I was at the USM concert in Hattiesburg, MS last night. It was the most incredible thing I have ever been a part of. Thanks so much for spending your Valentine's with us.... the pictures you used from the Hubble telescope were unbelievable, if I may say "indescribable"! Can you tell me where I can find the picture of the center of the whirlpool galaxy? I would love to e-mail to my co-workers.
Live to Serve

Yea, one of the guys from my family group definitely also has his wristband still in tact. Mine is still on...but it's tearing. I've already held it together with zebra-print tape. Looks like I need some more tape...

Hay Mr. Giglio
I am orginal from OK, but at this time I am at school in Columbus Ms. I hope that people from home opened their hearts to truly hear what you had to say. I know there have been times in my life I did not open mine to hear and now looking back I wish I had. thank you for your willingness to share. I will be praying for you and the others on the tour.

I have to say I'm very disappointed that there was no blog about the show in Oak Creek, WI. I thought it was a great night!
