First Passion Regional USA Dates Announced
For three years now you have come to Passion, as over 53,000 of you have made the trek to Nashville or Atlanta to be a part of Passion's annual gatherings. Now it's time for Passion to come to you! So, in advance of the Passion World Tour (beginning in May 2008) Passion is hosting six weekend events throughout the USA. Smaller than our annual events, yet hopefully big enough to unpack the heart of the movement, these Friday/Saturday events launch October 12/13 as Passion returns to Boston! I can't tell you how excited we are to be back in New England, four years after the historic gathering we were able to be a part of at the Orpheum in 2003. More details will be available soon as to the location, etc., but we think there will be room for all you NE folks who want to come. We are officially leaking the date even though we are a few weeks away from the launch of the Passion Regionals USA website because October 12/13 is not that far away and we have never done a large scale event in New England before. We're not sure what kind of response to expect in Boston and really need a massive grassroots effort to spread the word and carry the vision.
The following weekend, October 19/20, we'll land in the Midwest for Passion Chicago. The idea for all six rgionals is that you don't have to convince your friends to make the long hike to Atlanta to get a sense of what Passion's all about....you only need make a short (1-6 hour) road trip and you're there. Of course, you're totally free to make a much longer road trip if necessary or desired (I'm pretty sure somebody is just crazy enough to make an appearance at all six!), but most of the nation will be able to make it with a pretty short commute.
Some of you astute geography lovers will note the remaining four cities as you scan the graphic (though we cannot confirm or deny your assumptions at the time of this post) and you fine folks in the lovely NW will note that there is an absence of one of the little orange Ps in your area. Please, please know this is not from lack of heart or effort on our part, but the way things landed after much seeking and searching for the right timing and fit. Some of you Washington/Oregon types will want to follow the 5 south towards LA and join us there.
All in all, we are so excited about moving out and getting a little closer to where you are. We are going to need a massive effort from everyone in the Passion movement as we head your way. More info on how you can help and registration details will be coming soon!
For today, we are thinking about a phenomal rescue at the highest cost...the final passover sacrifice of all time. And we are breathing in the hope of life, His and ours as we find our life in Him. Alive! LG

I was happy to come to Passion for the first time this year (Atlanta) but I'm ecstatic to know that you guys are coming to us all the way out in California! (at least it would seem from the map). I know that this has traditionally not been a west-coast ordeal, but to see this change... is big news indeed. Amazing!
By Anonymous, at 4/06/2007 1:05 AM
Aaaah! I am so ecstatic to hear you are coming to Cali!! I have yearned for a few years to bring my friends and sisters to a Passion event but the cost of traveling cross country was too much for them. Now Passion is coming to our neigoborhood (well, sort of...we will still have to drive 6 hours from up near Sacramento, but it's worth it.)
Today I was blasting the P05 CD on my IPOD and I instantly transported back to the Gaylord arena. The experience 2 years ago still lives in my heart and the fire that was ignited in my soul that week still blazes for Christ's Renown. I have never and will never be the same.
Thank you for bringing Passion a bit closer to home. You can be certain I will be sending some family and friends!
Blessings and Humility to you as you celebrate Christ's resurrection this weekend.

This news is amazing! I'm actually thinking of flying from Amsterdam to Boston in october! I only need to figure out a good and cheap hotel in downtown Boston:-)
It would be a good preparation for the world tour:-)
By Jacoline, at 4/06/2007 5:48 AM
WOOOHOOOO!!!!!! That's exciting!!! I have so many friends that didn't go to ATL this year, but after hearing about all the experiences and stories from us they were so excited. Now since you are coming to Chicago, we can get a huge group together and drive up there in a few hours. I'm so excited!!!!! Thanks for remembering us in the midwest!!!!! God Bless!! :)
ps: still praying for all you guys!! (regionals and world tour) God is going to send a shockwave through this world...

BOSTON?! What an awesome answer to prayer! Our Cambridge church will be launching a church plant in the Fall; we're thrilled to have Passion here and will be praying for you in the months ahead. The first couple conferences in Dallas expanded my view of God and called me to a deeper life sacrifice; can't wait to see what God does in our community as a result!

TO the Passion Team,
I am excited about the new direction you are taking with Passion. I am praying for you all and I know God will work miricles and move mountains as you all follow God's direction. See you all real soon in Alpharetta for Thirsty '07 as I prepare to serve.

Praise God for the work that He is going to do in Boston. It's a city that was laid on my heart at Passion 06.
By Anonymous, at 4/12/2007 11:34 AM
Just to let you all in the south know...
God is moving on the west coast as well.
I have had countless conversations in just this past month with fellow college students who are already proffesed followers of Christ, and are now searching what it TRULY is about... to be a disciple of Christ... and live for HIS renown alone.
It is lives lived like these that are affecting the lost around us, even within the church.
This is my prayer!!!
That the eyes of the hearts of my friends and family here in California will continue to be opened to the truth of the CROSS...
It will not be an event that will move them
but the movement of the spirit
seen in lives of abandonment.
SO WEST COAST FRIENDS
be in prayer long before passion comes to LA
For the sake of HIS renown
and the hearts of those he loves

BOSTON!? BOSTON!? YESSS!! I have been praying for this for a long long time. Ever since I found out you came here before.
I have never been able to go to Passion when it was in other places.
THank you, Lord. THank You.
I will be of age!! Yeah!
I am definately going to be spreading the word, you can count on me. I am going to be telling everyone I see that is that age range. This is going to be a life changing event, and I am so unbelievably excited about it. All the other Passion events have been nothing short of amazing from what I hear....so I am waiting with great anticipation.
GOD BLESS YOU GUYS. REALLY.

Can't wait to hear that passion will be coming to Africa one day.
You really inspire a lot of people here in Africa. I for one would love to meet the people from passion because those are the people that God has used to impact my life GREATLY, not only as a musician but also as a Christian. I pray God will send you to a city where I am one day. Keep on the good work you're doing for God.

I am really interested in volunteering at the Passion Regional in Chicago. Does anyone have any information about that or has anyone ever volunteered at an event and have any feedback and how that was? Would love more information.
I am just really feeling that God is calling me to serve and not just be fed.
Really looking forward to being in Chicago for this event.

hay louie,
Can I volunteer and be a grip person to help setup on the passion world tour? At passion 06 and 07 that's all I could think about is helping serve God's purposes by helping Passion. I've been onboard with passion since Passion on the hill at church of the apostles. Don't worry I have an international concealed firearm permit, meaning I having pretty big guns!!!!!Great for grip!!

To the Passion Team
I am from England from a small town called Pontefract in Yorkshire (youve probably never heard of it). But I just wanted to say a big thankyou for providing your CDs, DVDs, website etc.
God has really used them to inspire me and my wife to have a deeper relaionship with himself. We are continually being reformed and want to completley live for him, we want to take risks, we want to glorify him in any way possible. God has used you to communicate this clearly and were really thankful!
Im excited about the global Passion confernce, it would be amazing to have it in England / Great Britan, but I will just keep hoping on that one. There is a great need for our generation in Britain to wake up, and see how they can be used and how there life can count for the God of the universe, as opposed to just for themselves.
Anywany keep up the good work.
Mat

Really stoked to hear about Passion World Tour. Haven't got any info on it though. Will there be a South African leg? I'm from Margate, KwaZulu-Natal. Myself and friends simply love the whole concept of the passion movement along with Louie and the bands. would be great if you considered this as one of the destinations! If we can help, please let us know.

Hi there, I first attended a Passion Conference in TX in 2000. Then I had the privelege of going to One Day in 2003. I now live in the Boston area and have been praying for revival in MA/New England for quite some time. In the past few weeks, however, I have sensed an URGENCY to pray for revival here. I am extremely thankful to the Lord that He is bringing the Passion Conference here and I am looking forward with joyful expectation to what He is about to do for His glory!!!

Hi Louie. I am soooo excited about the fact that "Passion" is coming to our city - Johannesburg!! You will not believe the impact that the How Great is our God and Hope dvd's have had on me. Thanks for allowing God to use you! I am so excited about all that God is doing, it's amazing! Only thing is, I noticed that Passion is for students.
