  • wow!!!! So good to see the pictures. I'm praying for this event. Thinking of all the people that are there right now.

My friends are there as well and I had a quick phonechat with them before the start of the conference...

I pray that this event will encourage students. I pray that God will move in everyone's heart.

WE ARE AN ARMY OF GOD!

I love the verse on biblegateway of today: “Then he said to them all: "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”- Luke 9:23-24

  • Wow. There really isn't a better word for it than that. Really. That one of the most incredible thing I've ever experienced (BigStuf and a mission trip to the D.R. are the only other things that compare). Thank you so much for going after your vision to stir the souls of college students around the country. It is so amazing what you guys are doing in the lives of so many people. I never want to go back to living like I have no idea what has happened in my heart. Jesus died for me for crying out loud! I will be praying for the world tour and can't wait for Passion 09!

  • Incredible. WOW. God did something big tonight guys.

I really hope you guys post some of the messages, especially Saturday Morning's /insanely awesome/ message about the holy spirit. That message ROCKED MY WORLD. I have /never/ heard anything quite like that about the holy spirit. My perspective is completely changed. I just wish I had taken notes.

  • Oi Louie!!!
(Oi = "Hi" in portuguese -- Portuguese 101 - it will be useful I promise! lol)

My name is Sarah Castro. I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

I just came back from Passion in Atlanta, GA.
what a powerful experience with God. What a outstanding exhibition of HIS presence and glory among my generation. What a time of praise, worship and surrender to our Lord. What a privilege it was to watch a generation of young worshipers singing to our Father, Savior, Comforter with all the passion and strength they carry in their lungs. I was greatly blessed, touched, refreshed, an empowered in those 27 hours of dying to myself and finding the new me in Him.

I saw the previous post, I had no clue that you guys were going to be in Sao Paulo this year. I’m a current student at the Baptist College of Florida, majoring in Missions. But I will be home (Brasil) for the summer...I will be there!!!!!!!!! I needed to share a couple of very important somethings with you and I had no clue where to find your email address.

***I sent you an email to the invite@268generation.com and I hope and pray that they will get it to you. ***

I am greatly thankful to God for your life and this ministry and I give God the Glory for what He has done in our lives this weekend through you guys. I pray that that light we sang about would not stay in that arena, but that my generation will let it shine throughout the world!!

I committed myself to pray daily for Passion in Sao Paulo. You guys are not alone!
May God continue to bless, provide, empower and protect you. Thanks for your obedience.

    Be blessed in Jesus name!
    in His service

    Sarah.

PS: I hope you will get my email.

  • passion atlanta - wow! i had an amazing time worshiping our sweet Jesus with all of you this weekend. : )

i would like to invite you all to join in on something God has placed on my heart -- intense intercessory prayer for Mike (Ashley's dad) until Tuesday. plead his case before the Lord. ask God to soften his heart. i truly believe there is going to be a bow at the end of this story, and God is going receive all the glory.

    thanks! : )

  • I WANT TO SEE MORE PICS..PLEEEZE

Today is April 13th,2008 i just thought i would put a neverending".............! BECAUSE the passion experience put a big impact on my life and its not over. Ive known christ since i was 11 yrs old. I have never felt the spirit of God in the way, shape, or form. As i arrive home i look back on the weekend and realize that i want to feel the spirit of God 24/7. Gods love is so enduring. Hearing the testamonies just gave me a better understanding who God really was and realizing how BIG God is. Its awesome to be apart of somthing that is so much bigger than myself, I have a family, a large family they may not be blood related but thru christ we are all brothers and sisters, soooo basically we are BLOOD RELATED. That being said i have been asked to go to Zimbabwe Africa, and i too would love to share my faith and my understanding of God to my brothers and sister...or hope soon to be. BUT its all in Gods hands if he wants me to be there I will be there. I didnt want to just go to Passion and leave that Passion for Christ there in the Gwinnett Center. I want to share my experience and joy God has provided me with to the world! I wanna thank Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, and Charlie Hall! I WANNA thank Francis Chan, and Louie Giglio but like LOUIE said I WANNA GLORIFY GOD for using you guys as a temple of God! THANK YOU JESUS..this is only the beginning to a better life

  • Hey, I have never done a blog in my life. This a test and if this gets posted then I will share my thoughts on Passion Atlanta, when I am not about to go to sleep.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4/13/2008 10:36 PM

  • it worked... cool! I have officially entered into the 21st century.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4/13/2008 10:38 PM

  • These pictures are amazing!! But the full effect of the weekend is beyond pictures or words. To truly experience Gods extreme beauty and Grace for the first time was absolutely amazing and humbling. God has his hand in something very big right now. God of this City just said it all..."Greater things are yet to come and Greater things are still to be done in this city". I cant help but be so amazingly thankful that I get to be part of it. Knowing that God has chosen me and has put me here to be part of his magnificence here on earth. My prayers are with you Louie and your team as you start Passion World Tour in the next few weeks, and for everyone who gets to also be part of his amazing plan in whatever city you are in!!

  • Hey Louie,

We will be praying about your meeting with Mike. I was praying about "the bow" yesterday and I sensed the Holy Spirit saying, "There's always a bow, but the Gift-Giver doesn't apply the bow until He finishes wrapping the present." Wow! I haven't unpacked all that means yet, but I hope you get this beore your meeting with Mike.

    Blessings,

    Stephen
