Louie,
Thank you for being so faithful to post updates on the blog to help keep us in the loop.
It's been so amazing to continue to see all that God is doing and to see how we can come together as the body of Christ lifting up prayers and feeling like we're a part even though we're in so many different places in the world...
Prayers for students whose lives have been changed and for all of those being sent out from D.C.

i have been sitting here for the last week listening to "mighty to save" and thinking about the fruitcake story. it gives me chills every time.
the truth behind the scripture... that Jesus conquered the grave... is simply breathtaking.

my heart and my prayers are for the students that are leaving the South doors of the Patriot Center. Go find your Ashleys, being the fruitiest fruitcake you can be.
Thank you Louie for your guidance this weekend and your vision for not only students here in America, but throughout the world.

I didn't think that Passion this year would be as good as the past two I have been to, without the 20 thousand and all of the seminars and craziness! But this year topped them all. God is doing AMAZING things, I cannot wait to see what he is going to do all over the world. I would love to go to a venue, is there any information about them yet? To God be all the Glory, forever changing lives.

Have a safe trip home Passion staff, volunteers, and everyone who came....what a great weekend. I'm glad my group decided to come after dealing with the weather craziness when we left Connecticut Friday morning... it was really cool to "randomly" run into Steve Thrall again too.

So i'm home after participating in one of the most memorable, life-changing weekends in the DC area. I have lived here my entire life and have never felt so alive and eager to share the good news of God. Ashley's story has encouraged me so much because I often forget that I once was just like her...but now I can't wait to be a FRUITCAKE!
The worship was amazing...the talks were God-driven and spoke directly to my life. You have no idea how much I needed this in my life...Sin had taken its toll on me...but "My chains are broken...I have been set free"
Praise God and May the Passion movement continue bringing the Good news to the world on their next tour!!!

just got back from this awesome DC conference. thanks so much for your vulnerability and care. i'm a fairly new christian and i have to admit that i was really hesitant about coming to Passion; i had a...now what I see as a false impression that Passion was a product of the "glamorous" Christian life with the the "big, expensive" musicians and the "big, expensive" speakers. I was terribly wrong. I knew I'd be entertained, but the holy spirit did more than just mildly amuse my flesh..It showed me its omnipresence in the vessels of the other Christians around me no matter where they're at and that we all share in this same passion for God.
Good. freakin. stuff.
Well take care mister. I have some Ashleys on campus to not ignore anymore. It was cool putting a face to all of those praise people like Chris Tomlin whose songs my church sings a looot.

Love and blessings from Italy
Always praying for you!

Passion,
THANK YOU for recycling!! I can't tell you how many times I've been to Christian events (or any event, for that matter) and been so frustrated because of the absurd amount of trash produced and food thrown away. Feeding the hungry and taking care of the earth or so simple, yet so often overlooked. so thanks for caring!!!!
ps: next time I would suggest telling people WHY we are recycling. You would be surprised at how many people think of it as a chore. If you gave some statistics or just told people why it is so important to recycle, I'll bet a significant amount of people would start recycling in their own homes/dorms/apartments.

For the guy who wanted the lyrics to Charlie Hall's song Mystery.
Here you go
Sweet Jesus Christ
My Sanity
Sweet Jesus Christ
My Charity
Bread of Heaven
broken for me
Cup of salvation
held up to drink
Jesus Mystery
Christ has Dead and
Christ has Risen
Christ will come again

I was able to catch most of the conference and it has impacted me tremendously...it has re-ignited my fire for HIM! I met alot of great people and was difficult to say goodbye. Thank you for allowing me to serve!
