More DC!

We had to get a 2/29 Blog in, given this is such a rare day, and wanted to share a few more DC pics and let you know the Dallas/DC Podcast is up and running at iTunes now. You'll love the interview with Sam Lu (we just found out the podcast has made it to her and she's heard it, so that's cool) and be encouraged like crazy. Enjoy... and see you Monday for First Monday March. LG

  • those pic's are awesome!
    And the podcast was AMAZING...
I already commented about Sam's story on the last blog post, but I will say again it was incredibly encouraging and again reminded me of how BIG this thing is that we are apart of... THANK you God, for always using Passion to bring me back to the right focus.

Mr Giglio, hope you are feeling better too = )

  • Happy Leap Year Day!
    :-)

So excited to see all that God continues to do, and how cool it is that there were almost 100 comments posted on the last blog post... So many stories already of what God is doing, and it's all just getting started...

    AMAZING Times!!!

  • I'm enjoying the podcasts! I love downloading them on my ipod and listening to them on the metro on my way to work in D.C. Being that the Passion team has a terrific sense of humor (necessary in extending God's kingdom if you ask me) they cause me to lol frequently. Perhaps my random roars of laughter will bring an opportunity to share what's going on in my ears...and in my life.

  • I'm really glad you broadcasted another podcast! I'm still feeling the vibrations from Passion Dallas. I'm trying to make my way to Atlanta, but we'll see how that goes!!!

  • I said it yesterday but I want to repeat it...Thanks Louie to let us hear Sam's story! Thanks to encourage all of us...and to remind us that we are part of a bigger plan...bigger then we can imagine!!!I remember that in the bible God says that He wants to let his people know what is in His mind...
So thank you Father as You use this people to let me know wich are the desires of your heart, bless them!!I want to see the same desires grew in my heart, so that I can pursue them and see your name lifted high in my life!I pray that this (my) generation can realize the dreams you have for us and for the world...I pray for all the students around the world who are searching the meaning of their life, that are building their future, I pray that they can meet you Lord and in You find what they were meant to be! Thanks Lord as You always listen(and read) and answer our prayers.
    Blessings,
    Daniela

  • proud to be 1 of the 19 Podcast listeners (or 23 now i guess as "axiomwear" said)! hehe. like "leah" said, you guys crack me up! i just love it that you guys have so much fun (Matt's anagrams & jokes about Chris, etc)! just plain hilarious!

anyways, my comment really won't be that much different as the ones before but yeah, i was just really encouraged after hearing the DC/Dallas podcast. i don't know a lot about China myself (except for Bro. Yun, the "heavenly man" & underground churches) but after hearing Sam's story and as i continue praying for PASSION:Jakarta (our partner city from PASSION:LA), i just really sense that GOD is doing something in Asia. soo exciting!!

thank you Louie for always updating us, through blogs & podcasts. it's great to hear what God's been doing to student's lives at every city.

great to be a part of God's amazing amazing story!

  • "Hoping that maybe my dream was God's Dream..."
Thank you Sam (if you ever read this)- you'll never know how much Jesus has used those words in me. You are so beautiful- I am praying for you sister.

  • I guess that makes me #24 then. PASSION is my first podcast ever and I LOVE it!
Thanks for having these amazing regional conferences. I STILL have my bracelet on from Passion 07, and was hoping it would give me an excuse to get called out or shake hands with Mr. Giglio, oh well, the crazy stares and whoa's were worth it.

Thanks so much for all Passion has done to impact me and all the other people in the DC region and good luck going all over the world!

PS~ The "Salisbury Steak University" comment, not cool dissing my school. But it was not the first time that was said ;-)

  • Wow.

Sam - I wasn't at the passion event in DC and I don't know all of your story, but I just listened to the podcast and there just aren't words to tell you how Jesus came over me and comforted me as i listened to you speak. I can barely speak right now. All that i can say is.... i wept.
