Alright Upper Level, Are You Out There?
Way to go "below the yellow line people." You did a great job yesterday pushing Passion all the way up to #4. Today is the day for all you upper level folks to go crazy and see if we can inch our way higher. We can't tell you how much it means to have you with us. Obviously, we are after far more than chart success, but it is cool to see the power of our movement pushing the Savior to the center of the music conversation...and maybe even to the top!
We know the price is high for two songs and a talk and aren't quite sure why it's higher than we planned. Apparently, someone in the system can change the price, so thank for scrapping that extra buck together and downloading the whole bundle. That's what counts on the album chart and helps support the cause. I owe you all a dollar!
Charlie is #28 (you guys have nailed the #4 and #28 spots, wow) and you're going to be floored by his album. I was so honored to stand beside him last night at 7|22 as we launched this project. Hearing "Come For Me" live was worth the whole night!
Speaking of sixsteps...tonight we load buses in Atlanta to head out for the spring leg of the Indescribable Tour. Yep, starting tonight I'll be back in my cozy bunk on Chris' big black bus, his feet right through the wall behind my head and Matt across the isle. If you're in Columbia, SC, Raleigh, DC, or Pittsburgh we're headed your way in the next four nights. Come worship with us and bring someone you want to introduce to God's glory and grace. I'm so excited about sharing the Cosmos-inspired Indescribable talk in 20 more cities. Every time it shrinks my pride, makes me marvel at the fact that I know this Creator personally and leaves me speechless.
Back with more updates from the road.
Go for it all you "above the yellow Line" people!

God Bless all of you as you embark on this leg of the tour!! You will be making such an impact for God!
Lovin' the bundle! I've listened to "Salvation is Here" like, 10 times already. Great tune. Louie, I've listened to part of your talk, and I'm thinking "Where was this guy when I was 20?!" I just think if there had been someone or something like Passion back then, how it might have changed my life at that point. So, you young 'uns--listen to this man!! Walk in God's word every day!
On Sunday, you will be deep in Steeler country, so wear your black and gold!! We are very psyched that they are Super Bowl bound!! (I have to root for them since I am in PA). I can't be at the show, but I know you will be rockin' for Jesus and changing lives with your ministry.
Bless you for all you do for the Glory of God!

Louie, I am so encouraged the the Indescribable Tour that God has used you to proclaim across this world. A daily prayer of mine for the past year has been that God would help me grasp just a little bit more his greatness and his love so that I can fall into a more reverent awe of him. He used you to help me wrap my mind around him just a little bit more. I am praying for you that you will continue to bless each person that hears this message, in a mighty way.

thank you for all your hard work to get the bundle together!! it is awesome and the extra dollar is no big deal!!
By Stephanie, at 1/25/2006 1:55 PM
the iTunes bundle definitely brings back memories of great milestones from that week...
Louie,
A challenge you gave when I was a college student (a decade ago)really impacted my life: "Love God, Care about people, Share Jesus."
Thanks for that and for sharing Psalm 34:8.
I was so disappointed not to make it to Passion '05 last year, but I had e-mailed a friend that I was praying for you all as the main session was about to begin that first night. I marked in my journal the passage of Scripture I was praying for you all that week- Colossians 3:15-17. I continued to pray it several times this past year.
I was able to make it to Passion '06 this year as a volunteer (for the 4th time since '99), and during the last session, when you announced the verse as Colossians 3:17 (then you went back to 3:15 and 16, too!), God definitely had my attention... Funny, how He works in us and brings things full circle a year later...
These are amazing times we get to be a part of... How good and great God is!
Prayers for all God will continue to do through the Indescribable Tour...

Let's push the charts to #1 "above the yellow line" people! The two songs are awesome and well worth the price. I'm so excited yall decided on those two songs, we were singing them all the way home from Passion06. Thanks Louie and all who helped get all this done. God is GOOD, all the time! See yall in Raleigh this week for an indescribable PARTY!!

I'll be wearing my Passion06 wristband to the Indescribable tour! Let's "play heaven" again! (Coined by our leader that came with us PASSAGE Ministry people to Passion the past couple years!)
By Anonymous, at 1/25/2006 3:29 PM
the songs are amazing. i had such an amazing time at passion. i cant wait to go to atlanta. there was one thing that didnt really sit well with me though. im curious about the position passion takes on having beth moore give a sermon to the masses. when 1 tim 3 seems to encourage otherwise. any kind of feedback would be great. graczyk@unm.edu

Wasn't really diggin' the Salvation Is Here the first time i played it...
But the second time i played it. And I heard him yell, It's Okay To Be Loud Now! I was like back to where i was sitting at during that late night. AWESOME!
DCB is AWESOME as well!
But the fact that God is AWESOME is even AWESOMER, or more awesome...not an english major.
Haven't relistened to the talk yet...but i will once i burn it all to cd.

By Anonymous, at 1/25/2006 6:13 PM
I really hope David Crowder's 'Our Love Is Loud' song is on either the next bundle, or the cd.
By Anonymous, at 1/25/2006 6:34 PM
upper level loud & clear!!! I got them today...what a joy (get it...joy!) Great job everyone!!
I was listening to both songs and I had to wonder what the decibel readings were in the arena! [I know, I'm a nerd] Just a suggestion...next year in Atlanta, can you somehow get a decibel reader on one of the many screens so we can blow the roof off of the place?!
By Anonymous, at 1/25/2006 6:38 PM
Got the bundle, yesss.
I really hope Watermark's "Light of the World" is on the CD or at least released on iTunes. That was such a powerful song at such a key moment in the conference!

Hey, everyone,
unrelated to the great downloads (well, really I guess it relates); here are a few prayer requests for you to chew on:
During passion, as Louie was giving the "passion, purpose, and designer jeans" talk; 3 people came to my mind as Louie was saying that we needed not all be missionaries, but to infiltrate our culture, right here where we are now:
1. My high school English teacher, whose name is Christopher (we're not on a first name basis; by the way). I've not spoken to him in about 5 years, but I ran across a letter he wrote me for my high school graduation, in which he wondered/admired my ability to live a joyful life after being (no exaggeration) deathly ill for quite a while. The thought crossed my mind during Louie's talk, to write him; and tonight, as I was waiting around at work; I found his e-mail address on-line and shared my testimony. I have no idea where he stands in his relationship with God; but please, lift him up in prayer! (I also don't know if he even checks his e-mail.) "Coincidentally," Charlie Hall's "Flying into Daybreak" came on my ipod -- my first time to hear it; GREAT SONG; GREAT CD (so far), but it speaks about being who we are, where we are, and also about asking God to bring His kingdom all over the world... HOW VERY FITTING for that situation!)
2. A surgeon whom I have worked with here, who is (I believe) Muslim. I find it wise to not draw attention to his name at this time; God knows who I'm writing about. In any case, I was deathly afraid of this man before I started the rotation (he can be quite unfriendly at times). I prayed for God to make the rotation go away, or at least to put a shield of himself around me. Here's what happened: This doctor found no fault with my working under his leadership. Indeed, he noticed that I was different. During my last week on service, he pulled me aside, and told me this to my face; he said something like : "Silke, may I ask you (he is very kind to those he likes), without being intrusive, what it is about you, that makes you so different from the other residents?" I was pleased, shocked, and weak; and did not at that time share with him that I am a Christian. But that is what makes me different. Please be in prayer over the situation. I don't think an e-mail will work (he's only 4 floors downstairs from me), but I would love to maybe make an appointment with him, and go talk to him. Ask God to put that desire on my heart and mind; to give me strength in my faith and actions to follow through with it; and to change this man's heart.
3. The third, almost forgot, my statistics teacher (also unnamed) from last semester. I want to reach out to her as well. No clue how, yet, but pray for God to make a way.
Thanks
Louie and co, safe travels! Maybe I'll catch y'all in Oak Creek, WI!
