Everything For You
2:11 here in N'ville and we are spent. Literally spent on seeking, yielding and celebrating. I think we all are wiped out in the very best way. Today was the day of salvation at Passion 06, with many standing in our late night party to say they had trusted Christ to bring them to life. Yes!!
The night which began in candlelight ended with a mirror ball lighting up the arena as our hearts raced with gratitude for life and sight...and hope.
Again, a full plate today.
We'll try to start telling the story and showing you what happened tomorrow.

Praise God for this wonderful night of salvation!! Whether you make history that's written in a book is unimportant. Today, you have made history in the Kingdom!! Please know you are being prayed for and thought of regularly by us lame people who aren't lucky enough to be there with you.

For anyone praying for those at Passion 06, I would like to ask that you lift up a fine young attendee named Edward from Kansas City in your prayers. He is engaged to a lovely young lady named Jennifer and also scheduled for deployment to Iraq on January 18th.
God be with you brother. Our prayers go ahead of you for your safe return.

What an incredible time so far and it has only JUST BEGUN!! This 268 generation both here this week and those left behind WILL change history. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, can be found in Isaiah 61. If you doubt yourself know that there are many who believe this is YOU!
The Year of the LORD's Favor
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
5 Aliens will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast.
7 Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.
8 "For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity. In my faithfulness I will reward them and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed."
10 I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations.

Lord, please pour out Your energy and anointing upon the leaders (speakers and worship leaders in particular), staff, and volunteers as they begin this morning's sessions. Energize the hearers and anoint their ears to hear Your "rhema" word to each one for today. Holy Spirit, please seal the work You have done within each heart and life this week. For those newly birthed into the Kingdom, seal their assurance of Salvation and firmly root them in Your Kingdom. In the days that follow, Lord, continue the work You have begun in each life - work Your confirmation of callings and anointings for ministry; bring peace and ongoing healing to those in whom You have worked deep healing; water, nourish, and strengthen the shoots of new Spiritual growth in each life.
And Lord, as people leave Nashville and begin driving, tired, please empower them with alertness and surround them with Your protection as they travel.

Hey Mr. Giglio.
that is so great about the night of salvation!
I want you to know that you all are daily being lifted up to the throne of the Almighty. My prayer is that God would give you a peace in your hearts, and you wouldn't be anxious about the sound equipment or if the worship leaders will remeber all the lyrics or if everything goes as planned, but say and know that everything is in God's hands. Remember, you taught us on the Indescribable Tour that God HOLDS EVERYTHING.
God be with you,

first of all, louie, what a brilliant job leading us through this week. God has been good to us through your leadership! forever grateful!
okay...now, on the designer jeans thing. i have a hunch that when you were talking about people waking up in the middle of the night sketching out designer jeans, because they were so passionate about it, that maybe, just maybe, you've got some sketches somewhere on your laptop/sketchbook.
louie, just come on and post the sketches. let us see your clothing line. hahaha!
what a glorious gathering we got to be apart of this week and as Matt Maher said, "our pilgrimage from nazareth to jerusalem", now back to nazareth we go to make His glory known!
bringing His glory in style :)

What an absolutely incredible few days..that has felt like a month. There has been SO much working in me that I have had to just take some time and just be alone...and I am about to just go before my Abba and go through everything that I took in this week. There aren't works for all the amazing things that have happened at Passion. I was priveleged to be a part of it.
I do have one suggestion though. It is something that was brought up with a few different friends I met at Passion. So many of us have a passion for other nationalities and see the beauty in different races and nations. And yet, a very large majority of the people at Passion are white. It relates to the same idea that Sundays are our most segregated days. We for some reason haven't figured out that we need diversity in ways we present worship in order to reach the urban culture. I have a passion for the African American culture and not seeing any kind of music or speakers that will be able to relate to that, is disheartening. I would have LOVED to see 4th Avenue Jones, Ambassador, Cross Movement, somebody with a fire for God and a passion for the urban culture, as a part of Passion. I have found others at Passion have felt the same way. Thanks for getting all the way through this. ;) Many Blessings to you.
