Indescribable Honor

Austin means night #50 and the end of a great ride!

Our crew on the road has been a tightly-knit family. Love the matching shirts for the grand finale!

How will I know which drink is mine from now on?

Enough.

South Africa's finest, Andrew played with Matt and for my talk.

The last glimpse.

Thank you to all you guys who joined us and all who prayed us across the nation and back. We missed Mr. Redman tonight as he returned to England early because of health issues with his family. Remember them in your prayers!

God, You are beyond our wildest imagination!
Louie

  • I just got back to Waco from an amazing night in Austin! Thank you so much -- I was in the crowd tonight proudly wearing my purple wristband, and with me was a friend I brought. It was so great to watch her face during the pictures of the universe. I think she encountered God in a powerful way. God is so amazing!!!! To Him alone all glory and praise is due. Thanks for proclaiming His name in such a huge way!
I tried to get the party clap going a couple of times, but no one around me seemed to recognize it. Oh well...

  • I just wanted to say "thanks" for your ministry. I was at the Birmingham show and it was really great. I am a 47 year old dad who really loves your messages and I also read your and Chris's books. You have been a blessing to my wife and I and our 2 kids. God is really using your music, your zeal and your heart to reach His world for Him. Bless You.

  • I dare someone to switch the lids on the bottles (LOL!)...

I've lately been thanking God a lot for all of you; and I mean, all of you! He's so awesome! I mean, so I flew to B'ham to see Marla and you all (Louie, Chris, and Matt mainly)... and God turned the weekend into a mini-passion retreat for the two of us! By His power alone, he switched Marla's call twice, so she was off on Thursday night; but then, she also was off on Saturday... just so that on Friday night, at 6:55pm, we drove (while praying) to the BJCC to find that He had "reserved" two free!! tickets to the sold out Beth Moore conference (18,000 in attendance) at will call... only for her to address the two key questions both Marla and I have been struggling with lately. Seriously, though, How Great IS our God?!

Oh, and tonight on the airplane, I met a beautiful young woman who I'm pretty sure has no clue of who Christ is, and I can't spell her name for the life of me, but God knows who she is. She's moving to Madison, and I'm the first person in town she knows... Oh, why am I telling you all? Because I was trying to read "Facedown" and she found the book-cover so interesting, that I had to let her read the back, and she was still interested. Well, we traded seats so she could sit with her friend, and I quickly read the rest of the book and then gave it to her for a present. Would anyone please join me in prayer this week for not only salvation for her, but also for the ministry she's gonna have at UW as a new Christian? Thanks a bunches...

    Silke

P.S. I hope Matt knows he and his family are being prayed for...

  • thanks for a great tour!

  • I'm interceding in prayer for Matt and his family. May our God of peace and comfort make His presence known in their lives. And may the Redmans believe God for healing and provision.

Matt and Beth have given us all such great words and songs to express the cries of our hearts during difficult times ("Blessed Be Your Name", "You Never Let Go", etc). Let's all come before God on their behalf during their difficult time.

"You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples."
    Psalm 77:14

  • Update:
The Redmans's are doing OK. No serious illness, it's just that it's hard to be away when your family is experiencing sickness of any kind, so Matt returned a day early. Thanks for your prayers for them.

  • Passion team,
thank you for the update, it sounds like it was not serious, that is good. say hi for us and thank you also for all that he has done on the tour.

  • To everyone who helped make the Indescribable tour a success: Thank you!! I got to see it in SC at the first stop of the "spring" leg. It was a great chance to be reminded again of the HUGENESS of God, and the smallness of me!
My wristband was on (held together with tape, but on) until today, when it came off. Sadly, I think it is beyond repair this time (this is the second time it's come off) and it will now be taped to the cover of my Bible.
    Passion '07 registration opens soon!!
Until then, live for His fame, not our own...

  • Hey Louie, Chris, Jacob, Jesse, Travis, Daniel, Andrew, Matt, all the techies, crew, drivers & the planners (Shelley?) who helped make the Indescribable tour possible --- Thank You so much! Working together you all contributed to evenings where many were drawn closer in their understanding & relationship with the Lord.

Also thank you so much for taking the time to share your blog thoughts and pictures with us along the way. I'm glad to hear there were memorable times for you during the journey :) I am thankful I was able to attend and participate once last fall and once this spring...I wonder if it was a taste of what the Passion gatherings must be like for the college students.

Thank you all for reminding us of God’s incredible love for us by blending an evening of challenging teaching with times of special worship...that was a great combination… and made for so much more than a concert... Thanks for always placing the focus on Him.

(Would it be possible to see what scripture verses you guys read at the beginning each night? and possibly also what was on the screens during intermission for reflection?)

My prayer for each of you is that your homes will be filled with His presence & peace; that your hearts will be sensitive to His whispers, wisdom, & where He's leading next; Also that you would be refreshed and rest in Him during this break --and have some fun!

    Thanks to everyone again!
    Blessings to you all! :)

  • A Prayer request for any of you bloggers who feel led to pray-
Two close friends of mine are missionaries in a closed muslim country, where they have are working at an orphanage which seems to have many disabled children. They have taken several steps toward improving conditions there for the children and have reached several workers with salvation. The local government has recently been denying renewal of visas for people doing their kind of work… my friends have a burden to continue this work and their visas are up for renewal in March. So I would greatly appreciate your prayers for them that if the Lord wills, they will continue to be able to minister to these children and disciple others. There are financial needs you could pray for as well, but the immediate concern is the visa renewals. Thanks so much!
