These Halls
Inside London's Famed Abbey Road Studio
Facedown - Meet Pink Floyd
Tracking Last Week In Studio 2
Another Month's Graffiti Covered
Soon To Go
Les Moir (Head of Matt's UK Survivor Records), Matt and Me
The halls at London's famed Abbey Road Studio have seen much in their day, not the least of which is the recordings of the Beatles, the original Fab Four. So, in earthly terms it's a big deal to record in the same rooms as music legends, not to mention the fact that the folks at Abbey Road chose to put Matt's CD in the main hallway...an image of humble worship in the hallowed halls of one of recordings great cathedrals. Very cool.
Someone will surely add that knowing Jesus is no comparison with the Beatles, an obvious reality not lost on any of us who were there last week. Yet, there is something special about being among music's giants. And seeing the Kingdom come in these hallways is a beautiful thing.
In a few months you'll hear Matt's new project (recorded both at Berry House south of London and at Abbey Road) and you'll get a taste of the voluminous sound of Studio 2, a massive tracking room with a combination live/studio sound. It was great seeing the new songs unfold and come to life and interesting to see the favor that God has given Matt with the folks at Abbey Road.
Keep praying for Matt's production team as we finish this record in the next few weeks and watch for new releases -- Crowder's B Collision, Passion's Everything Glorious DVD and Tomlin's newest -- in coming months.

That is amazing. You gotta just know that there aren't a lot of people who will actually stand where you guys stood at Abbey Road. And, I totally understand the "awe" that you must feel. I got to be in a studio down in LA that Phil Collins recorded at and I was pretty excited, but Abbey Road...amazing! You know you want to take the cross walk picture. just do it, we want to see it.

I was more than THRILLED to hear Redman's newest single "You Never Let Go" for the first time this morning on K-Love. What a perfect start to a very mundane work day.
I was likely getting stares as I drove down the road singing at the top of my lungs but I don't care. I was too excited to know this amazing incredible song has been released to radio!
PRAISE GOD!!!!

Dear Louie,
The hope of glory - Christ in you - has stirred up the hope of glory - Christ in me, for many years now. Passion music, conferences, books, DVD's, Piper, Matt, etc. have been instruments in His hand to mark my life, my learning, my leading, and my loving - as a husband, a daddy, and a pastor. Thank you. Carry on with more of God's favor. Next time you're in the Great NW let's do coffee. :-)
I'd love to tell you more about the Russian girl who came to Christ at 722 (3 years ago) and is back in Eastern Europe (St. Petersburg) and just helped us minister in orphanages in April as one of our translators. Cool story of encountering the ongoing fruit of Passion among the nations - pray for Olga (24 & spreading His fame in St. Petersburg, Russia).
Or the story of my friend Josh and our trip to Passion 05 to hear Piper talk about the tsunami and the glory of God - only for Josh to find out in Feb. that his first child growing in his wife Sharen would be born with spina bifida - Ella is an incredible blessing and bringing glory to God as she nears her first birthday...her parents rode the wave of that tsunami for the glory of Jesus in a way that reads like one of Piper's sermons itself... the implications and effect of Passion's leadership and teaching have marked us in ways to profound for a blog - but I don't know of any other way to contact you - considering Josh lost your email you gave him when he was the student chaplain at George Fox University in 1999/2000. :-) If we do coffee, he'd have to be there too.
Sorry to ramble. All this to honestly say in a huge way:
Thanks Jesus, for Louie Giglio and the ministry of Passion. Continue to shine on them and through them.
Sorry for the longer post...I'd love to meet you someday and thank you in person.
In Him, Adam

Thanks Louie for the update about Matt's new recording.
We are thankful for his music ministry and for the fact that the Name above all names, the name of Jesus , will be glorified through Matt's music and that hearts will be drawn to glorify Jesus as Lord.
Praying for all the projects coming up.
