Brightening Stockholm!
Meeting with friends and Swedish ministry leaders
before the night...
Waiting For Doors At Hovet
Prayer Triangle? That's the Latvian flag!
Start. Start = a little reserved. End = crazy!
Stockholm style
Matt showing mad language skills
It's late in Stockholm (early Monday AM, actually) and the hotel internet went down for a while, but I wanted to get some pics from tonight up before the day was over everywhere else in the world. We really felt your prayers tonight in Stockholm and had a beautiful night with 1400 new friends from Estonia, Latvia (50 people came from there), Norway, Finland, Holland, others and, of course, all across Sweden! If you're in New England, it felt a lot like Passion Boston to us...light breaking forth and God stirring things up in a city that is more dark than light. But, trust me. The church Jesus is building is alive in Stockholm and there is a generation here that wants to make Jesus famous with their lives. We felt so honored to be with these people tonight as God put His grace on display and invited us to let His awesome exchange (the Sinless for the sinful) move us to lives that are fully His. We believe God did something lasting tonight, and as one Swedish leader told me after, "This night will echo throughout the nation."
Two cultures in three nights. Two cities - one Jesus. A little surreal, but amazing!
Thank you to our Ukrainian friends who prayed for us tonight and gave $31,000 Ukrainian for this night. The Swedes are now praying for Sao Paulo and gave $50,000 SEK ($8200 US) for what's about to happen there. Pretty cool!
More to come. Passion loves you Stockholm!
Louie and the Passion Team
PS-Podcast coming soon!

O Lord, I pray in agreement with the Swedish leader's statement: Let all you did tonight echo throughout Sweden, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Holland, Norway, and Finland. Continue the work You began in Kyiv and Stockholm. And Lord, please give the Passion crew restful sleep and safe travel as they head for Sao Paulo!

A bunch of tennis playing Christians in sunny Florida want to send a note of encouragement to your missionary efforts in such difficult places.
Paris is on our hearts and we pray for an opening as you seek to bring what they desperately need... Jesus.
Anastasia especially says thank you for going to Ukraine. Her home town is Kyiv.
Stay focused, stay strong.

Prayers lifted up from Iowa. Thanks for being God's mouthpiece to the nations, tribes, and tongues of the world. May Jesus continue to SHINE through you to the world. We are all believing God that in each city after passion leaves that greater things are yet to come and greater things are still to be done in each (Kiev and Stockholm so far) city!
By TFay, at 5/18/2008 9:43 PM
Thanks so much for the updates! We are checking frequently for new posts...You guys are such an encouragement to us as you willingly go to some pretty dark places to share Christ. We're continuing to pray for your safety, smooth travels, rest, God's peace and Words, and for God to fill up each of these places with people whose hearts He has prepared....

Speechlessness...
Still prayin'...
1 John 1:1-3,
"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ."

I'm so glad for reading about what God has done in distant Sweden! I'm part of the Campus crusade and we've been praying for Passion here in the south of Brazil! And after checking your blog tonight guys I'm even more psyched about going to São Paulo! Yay! God will give us two amazing days, which I also hope will echo throughout the nation! We've also been praying for that! Let's shake things up in Brazil! Let's stand as a generation who will pay the price!
woohoo!Hopefully one day God will give me the opportunity of talking about Him in Europe - but this is another story!
See you on Friday!!

keep on keeping on guys and may God bless y'all with the choiciest blessings.

Just wanted to say a big "Thankyou!" to all of you guys on the the Pasion World Tour team. It was a priviledge to be able to serve with you all as a volunteer. I believe last night was a significant event in the history of Stockholm. We have seen a steady decline in the number of Christian believers since the 1950's and I believe last night was a turningpoint in our nation. Many young people were touched by the Spirit of God and profound commitments were made to serve the Lord without compromise.
By Per-Olof Danielsson, at 5/19/2008 9:25 AM
Wow, its so exciting to hear about all the opportunities you are getting to share the gospel with millions of students all over the world. I get goosebumps just reading about it!!!!
Praying for all you guys and just cant wait for Passion Cape Town, South Africa!
Keep loving Jesus.

Ever masturbate with the thoughts of someone else besides Jesus in your head? That is why the goal of passion is to make Jesus the most famous name in your life. There isn’t a car ride or a conversation, a bite to eat or a sip to drink, or a single entertaining thing out there not waiting to give us the choice of whether or not we have Him in mind first and foremost. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that He didn’t make.-Homeless John 1:3. Every step we give. Every thought we take. Every second of the day is HIS. What are you going to do with Jesus next? “What do you mean, if I can’t?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.”
