  • I remember exactly where I was standing in the Gaylord on that Thursday morning. I remember not being to stop the tears from coming, as God's glory was overwhelming, His fragrance was everywhere. Thank You, I needed to be reminded that He is in control! There has never been a day in eternity that God Almighty has not been on His throne! No matter what stage of life, or circumstance He reigns!!
Lord, have Your way in me!
Reign in every dark place of my life, that I try to hide from You. May I bless You!!!

  • Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord you may WITH ONE VOICE glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Romans 15:5-6

    I hear it!

  • WOW!!!! I totally needed to be reminded of that this morning. Everything just seems trivial when you are reminded of the only thing that really matters and that is that "our God reigns". Thanks Louie that's an awsome birthday present!

  • What wonderful memories of our time together. The beautiful thing is that He does reign, not just when the emotions are supercharged and You're ready to charge hell with a squirt gun!

  • No matter what happens between now and HOME I will never forget that experience at Passion 06. Never forget in a way that impacts my words, emotions, resolve, actions and prayers in every moment and every breath.

For all those at Passion 06 and all those that will be at Passion 07, in those moments I was praying specifically for you. With all of my heart and being. For our God reigns and He will answer. I pray that we will all answer His call in every moment of our lives.

Thanks for the great clip Louie! Much love to you, Shelley and the Passion family.

  • My student caught me crying. I had my back to the door, so all she saw were 2 twiggy arms sticking out of the top of my huge executive chair. I had pressed play at least 3 times—hard to do when you can barely pull your hands out of the air—before she got my attention. I’ve moved the Kleenex over next to me. Now I can go to the 07 page and listen to “Glorious.”

18,000 lives, God. Let us all live for You today. Let the world catch us with our hands in the air as we proclaim, “Our God Reigns!” Let the world catch You reigning today.

  • I remember being in the gaylord entertainment center standing in silence, as I listend to everyone sing this song. It was just so awesome to hear everyone join together singing it, with no instruments. This music clip brings back the memories! I had this song in my head as I was getting ready for work today. Passion is in my heart and I will never ever forget it, and all that God did in Nashville. The passion movement is amazing, and I along with many others are so blessed by it!!

  • wait... we only sang for 6:26?

  • please hurry april 4th!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 3/10/2006 11:43 PM

  • So many emotions are fighting within me right now.

Longing... to be in Heaven where we can sing His praises forever.
Joy... it brings me joy to know that there are 18,000 others in this world that know exactly how I feel when I hear that song.
Anxiousness... to get back into school and share His name with anyone who will listen.
Excitement… to see what God is going to do and is already doing through all of us that are His.
Awe… I’m still so in awe of the Glorious God we serve and I pray that there will never be a day when I cease to be in awe of Him.
And love… I think I’ve listened to this clip about 8 times now and I keep getting chills. They won’t stop! But I feel as if I am being surrounded, surrounded by my Daddy’s arms in the greatest hug I could ever imagine!

Longing, joy, anxiousness, excitement, awe, and love. Sometimes I wonder how a single song can bring out so many different emotions.

It feels so good to be in the hug!

  • Yesterday I was thinkin on the Ark of the Covenant as it stood motionless in the center of the Jordan River with several hundred thousand Israelites forming a sea of movement, crossing to the opposite side of the river. Overwhelming numbers of people forming one movement around one immutable and unmoved presence...Him in their midst. The voices on the "Our God Reigns" clip remind me of this same picture. Overwhelming numbers of God's people forming one movement with His immutable and unmoved presence in the center of their midst. What an amazing wonder to see in our day.
