28 Day Prayer Journey To Passion 07 - Day 13
Day 13. Mouthpiece.
Passion is not about the people on the stage, rather a place where you can know that the people onstage have a massive desire for you to see someone greater than themselves. While those of us on the stage have not pefected that yet (by any stretch of the imagination), Passion has always dreamed of a day when people would arrive and leave with the name of Jesus in their mouths more than the names of people. And why not, who can compare to Him?
Yet, having said that, most times God chooses to use people. People with faces and voices and gifts and vision and a story to tell. I love the people I am serving with at Passion 07 and am so honored to walk beside them in these days...those on main stages, leading Community Groups and Breakout speakers. Though the extra 3 or 4 feet up onto the main arena stages differentiates in no way from those leading in other moments, there is a weight for us all as we seek to lead well in these days.
They are: Beth Moore, Chris Tomlin and band, Matt Redman and band, Francis Chan, David Crowder*Band, Steve Fee and band, Tim Hughes and band, John Piper, Charlie Hall and band, Louie Giglio, plus other singers and musicians.
Father, please cover these and their families with mercy today. Defend, preserve, heal and inspire. May they see You more vividly than ever before, and portray with boldness and creativity the beauty of Your holiness and grace. Give them special gifts for the moments of Passion 07, and do in them in these days what we so long for You to do in this generation. Jesus keep and carry each one for Your name's sake, Amen.
"I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked...For the Lord God is a sun and a shield, the Lord bestows favor and honor, no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." Psalm 84:10b-11

Louie maybe you were being funny and messing with Chris but its seems like Chris Tomlin is Christ Tomlin. Love the Pod-casts and all the prep up to passion I have been bringing groups since 98, and God continues to show me more of Him and making Him the most important ONE on the stage...

Lord we do pray for those who will be leading at Passion, that You would help each one of them to be refreshed and centered on You and the things You would have them do in these days ahead... that You would give them a great peace and a strong direction on their portion... We ask Your hand of protection over each one and their loved ones ...and the preparation of their hearts to be used by You... We ask that during the days of P07, that You would use them all as open vessels and pour through them what You desire... Thank you Lord for each one of these.

Father... I just pray for those people who will be speaking at this conference in less than a month, and I just pray that you would continue to stir in their hearts what they need to speak on and burn in their hearts the faces of those people who need a touch from you. You have brought them all to this point in their lives, and I praise you for all that you have already done in their lives and I just pray that you would continue to reveal yourself in greater ways to them so that they would continue to fan the flame of Passion that's already in their hearts. You have led each one of them through so many things, and yet you have saved them for something so much greater. I praise you Father and just ask that you would cover their minds, hearts, mouths, and bodies with your blood. Keep their minds focused completely on you so that they would not fall into something that could hinder their walk with you. Remind them everyday to live with the armor on, and may they live in victory everyday.
I also pray for the participants of Passion, and I ask you to stir in their hearts a desire to see you and no one else. Although there are so many amazing leaders, speakers and teachers coming to this conference, you have called each one to come and encounter you in a new way. Break them away from expectations that this world has to offer, and in place give them expectant hearts to desire you and seek you more. You are a mighty King, and I thank you for what you are doing and what you're preparing your children to do. Protect the road to Passion, and keep your word on the tips of all who will attend... AMEN
Love you guys... your sister in Christ!

Father, I just ask that you would fill these men and women with your love that they can overflow in Atlanta to all of us, that we can overflow on college campuses and all over the world. Lord, and if they are weary give them grace to turn to You once more as the only True thing and the only Real thing and for that to be enough. I pray protection from the evil one in the name of Jesus, and blessings on all their families. Amen.

YES!!!
"I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked...For the Lord God is a sun and a shield, the Lord bestows favor and honor, no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." Psalm 84:10b-11
YES!!! How amazing it is to be in the presence of the Lord and to be a child of God! We're so blessed to have such gifted children of God leading us closer to His throne at Passion07.
I know we're here to glorify and exalt one name above all names, but to bring it down to the human level for half a second:
Louie, with Watermark (Christy and Nathan Nockels) "retiring" and spending more time with their family, will they be attending Passion07 and possibly leading a Community Group? I was in their Community Group last year and it's always amazing to worship with Christy.
Also, will Shane and Shane be leading a Community Group and possibly 'leading' for a bit at the main sessions?
Thanks in advance. Father, continue to guide all our hands, our feet, our hearts, our minds, our thoughts, and our actions - we're so thankful for Your amazing grace -- grace that is greater than all our sin.

Very true. God has used these people. I also think it's awesome that none of these guys take credit, but place all of the glory on the person who deserves it, Jesus Christ. Can you guys do me a favor? Check out my blog. It's davidferrell.blogspot.com I've placed lyrics to some songs that I wrote on there. Let me know what you think. I feel that God's gonna use these lyrics either through me or through someone else. Thanks in advance.

Father,
Thank You again and again for allowing me to walk on planet earth at the same time with these tiny lead worshippers... All of them are so small compared to Your awesome glory. I can't imagine not having the songs to sing that You've given, many of which are always on my heart, mind, and tongue, and which have accompanied me through so many steps over the last 10 years. Or to be able to remember story upon story of Your faithfulness that continues to be told through these worshipping speakers, and through Your acts in my life. It is not our works, songs, or talks, but Your Spirit that works in all of our lives, whether famous, not famous, or (even worse) infamous, that truly shows how GREAT YOU ARE!
Continue to shower us with Your favor, let Your light shine through our lives, and let us proclaim Your glory forever and ever.
Amen!
